DescriptionVerruculogen is a toxin produced mainly by Penicillium and Aspergillus spp. and causes severe tremors in affected animals. Verruculogen inhibits Ca2+-activated K+ channels. Verruculogen is an M phase inhibitor of the mammalian cell cycle[1][2][3].
