Ovalbumins BiologicalActivity
| Description | Ovalbumins, the main protein found in egg whites, have various biological activities such as anticancer, antihypertensive, antibacterial, antioxidant and immunomodulatory activities. Ovalbumins are the most abundant proteins synthesized in progesterone- or estrogen-treated fallopian tubes and are commonly used as markers to study hormone control of gene expression in this tissue[1]. |
