General Description(S)-(+)-1-Amino-2-propanol is a chiral amino alcohol.
SynthesisStep (1): dissolve sodium tert-butoxide (230g, 2.39mol) in tetrahydrofuran (2L), slowly add trifluoroacetamide (226g, 2mol) under the ice bath, stirring for 30min; then add S-epoxypropane (128g, 2.2mol) under the ice bath, naturally warmed to room temperature, and continue to stir the reaction for 10h, and then stirred the reaction for another 2h at 35??; after the reaction After the reaction, 2N (equivalent concentration) of hydrochloric acid was added dropwise to the system for neutralization, and then 1L of water was added, static layering, the aqueous phase was extracted with dichloromethane, the organic phases were combined, dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate, and concentrated under pressure to obtain a total of 318g of intermediate product I, with a yield of 93%.
