| In Vivo | Propyliodone (crico-thyroid membrane injection; 1 mL, in diodone (50% w/v); once) induces lung irritation in vivo[1]. Animal Model: Rabbits with sodium pentobarbitone and chloralose injection[1] Dosage: 1 mL, in diodone (50% w/v) Administration: Crico-thyroid membrane injection; 1 mL, in diodone (50% w/v); once Result: Showed macroscopic signs of lung irritation at 16 hours, reached a maximum at three days and appeared normal after two weeks. Caused a few scatteredfoci of round cell infiltration in the interstitialtissue adjoining the small bronchi of the rabbits. |
